They say that marketing is the key for  a Company success and in part we agree with it.
There are no success results, especially today, that do not rely on a valid marketing strategy but nothing could be achieved without a good product to propose.
These are basic premises in Plastecnic, where product, quality and marketing are combined together in an unconditional synergy.
About this matter, through our blog – we hand over the floor to Silvia Rossi, Plastecnic Marketing Manager for over 15 years.
“Plastecnic – says Silvia – is a company that does not disregard the product and its quality.
All this is combined together with a strong Marketing strategy towards our customers.
Our products are sold to garden centers, nurseries and big chains and we work with them through customized and targeted commercial and communication projects. We give our support to everyone of them in order to allow them to exhibit our products in the best way, we give them visibility through communication – both online and offline. For us, being “customer oriented” means being always there! It will seem something obvious but it is not always like that. We always try to establish a long-term professional relationship with all our customers, a relationship which is winning and profitable for both parties, whose results are seen in the final consumer satisfaction. ”

Attention to the customer therefore and to the details!
A famous quote of Charles R. Swindoll says that the difference between something good and something great is the attention to detail.
“In the company – says Silvia – the attention that is given to the design and development of a pot as well as the care of customer service are priority activities. A project of a pot means paying the utmost attention to all the aspects from functionality to aesthetics, also focusing on all the details”.
The pot’s function is to contain the plant by ensuring the ideal environment for its growth, without disregarding the aesthetic result.
This means studying shapes and solutions for different living settings, not only placing them on the floor but also on the walls, ceilings and also creating geometric compositions to realize green walls. High pots, planters with large capacity, functional flower-trays are the results   to create pleasant green areas widely used in public locations but also in your homes to realize “tailor-made” green corners.
Many collections, shapes and solutions that are combined with color ranges with natural nuances and furthermore with bright trendy colors. In the choice of the color range, we rely on experts from all over the world.

Plastecnic offers saucers in a range of over 80 sizes and in different shapes, heights and colors, with differences of even just few centimeters between one size and another.

All these efforts are extremely important especially in the market of today, which has changed a lot if compared with the past.
The gardening business recorded significant sales increase last year. It has been defined the year of the turning point even if in reality there have been changes in the trends of purchasing plants and in the “green” lifestyles of consumers for some time before.

“In 2020 even Plastecnic – says Silvia – faced a Market that after the lock-down has restarted with a very strong growth. The internal organization with all the safety procedures requested by the pandemic emergency responded in an excellent way! Our goal was to allow our customers to guarantee their sales. We would have expected a settling in the turnover this year, actually sales have recorded increases in double figures. We are trying to analyze this phenomenon in order to be able to make a forecast for the coming 2022. For sure the approach of young people to gardening has been important, as this means new consumers, but I think that the positive feeling towards the coming year is certainly due to the new approach to the “green world”.
We have been living in our homes much longer than we use to do before the pandemic period, plants in our houses and on the balconies and terraces made us feel good among nature. We have created green corners for relaxing and we have re-discovered the wellness and satisfaction that taking care of plants can transmit. Now wellness is a “must”, both physical and psychological and it means no stress. Then just browse the furniture and fashion magazines and see how plants are the protagonists in pictures and thus pots clearly play a fundamental role. Surely these editorials capture the trends and at the same time suggest them. I therefore believe that the next few years will still be influenced by this “super green” approach.

Another important value for the company and which is emphasized by Silvia is the concept of Made in Italy.
All Plastecnic pots are 100% “Made in Italy”, even in the search for suppliers we use to choose local companies whose seat is close to us. ”

The quality control of the pot is at all stages, from the mold to the logistics. The internal tooling department guarantees punctual and careful maintenance of the molds as well as rapid interventions in case of problems. The company know-how boasts 60 years of history, which means a high knowledge of plastic materials, molding techniques and the characteristics that each pot must offer in terms of performance. It also means that each pot has its own specific formula and this aspect makes the difference between one pot from another. A guarantee of total quality that Plastecnic can offer for sure Logistics department is optimized on customer requests and this means that the picking positions are organized according to the orders, to avoid wasting time and guarantee delivery dates.
