There are few days left until February 14th and what are you going to do on Valentine’s Day? Well, give roses as present! 😍
It does not matter if you are a couple or single. On Valentine’s Day we have to give roses!
It all started long time ago, such as in tales 🌟
Here in reality more than in a fairy tale we are immersed in a legend that features a couple in love and the patron Saint of love is the protagonist. One day while Valentine was busy tending his garden, a couple of lovers intent on arguing, caught his attention. The Saint could not remain indifferent to the scene, so he decided to end the dispute. He picked up a rose and placed it in the hands of the two lovers asking to hold it by the stem but paying attention to the thorns. Despite the quarrel, the two lovers decided to protect each other’s fingers with their own. So, the hands of the two remained together as a sign of love and of the newfound peace.
Legends aside, tradition sees countless roses given away on Valentine’s Day, but be careful! One rose is NOT worth the other!Mark the points below well because here, with the meanings of roses, you don’t mess around 😜
1. Every color has its own meaning 👉 The most commonly given rose is precisely the RED rose, a symbol of pure, strong and young love. The WHITE rose symbolizes purity but also a platonic love. They are an excellent declaration of love, shy but elegant. Watch out for the YELLOW rose! This in fact symbolizes jealousy and sometimes infidelity.
2. Even the number of roses given has its importance! We always choose an odd number. 1, 3, 5, 7 roses or more with a long stem and thorns. The premises for lasting love will be guaranteed ❤️ If we are at the beginning of a story or a love, only one rose will be enough, if you prefer an unequivocal message like ′′ I love you ′′ then three roses will be needed. Are we about to take an important step in your life instead? In this case a bouquet of 101 red roses will be what will be used to say “will you marry me?”
But be careful … roses and… not only them!
On Valentine’s Day we can also give a red tulip to declare our love.
On Valentine’s Day we can also give an orchid as a gift. The resilience of this flower symbolizes the will to overcome any obstacle. We talked about it a bit here 😁
On Valentine’s Day we can also give a red carnation ✨ a romantic appreciation to the other half. An expression of pure and deep feelings.
For each flower, its pot, our pots 😁
We imagine roses as follows: a bunch of them in a Modulo low Pot from the Oltrevaso Collection 😍
