The World Environment Day is celebrated every year on 5 June.
It is a date that wants to raise awareness and to focus everybody attention of our relationship with the Planet.
Thus, a precious opportunity to increase awareness about environmental issues and to promote concrete actions at an individual and collective level.
This is a debated topic lately. There are many discussions about this matter it is also due to the many recent disasters caused by climate change 👉 a topic that must become also “ours”.
Climate change is the consequence of not paying attention to the environment. Because respecting the environment is not a topic of discussion only for the others. Respect, as we often say, starts from the small daily actions that can make the difference.Reusing and recycling are fundamental concepts that make the difference. We can all do our contribution by starting to have every day correct habits:
🌱 by choosing eco-sustainable ecological products,
🌱 reducing food waste,
🌱 reducing the use of carbon and considering sustainable transport alternatives such as public transport and… where it is possible …by using the bicycle!
Many small gestures can help us to create a sustainable future
…. also re-consider the choices we make in our garden 🤗
In Plastecnic we often talk about sustainability as a lifestyle 👉 a mood that accompanies us both in the working and in the private sphere.
We make pots with over 65% recycled plastic with the goal of reaching 80% in a few years and we use electricity from 100% renewable sources. This and not only led to the development of a RE-LOVE re-use project as we’ve talked about here but also here.
Our business is closely related to the world of greenery, which we love and which we want to preserve day after day, always by choosing the “greener” path.
We involve – with our projects and through social channels – as many people as possible, demonstrating a tangible commitment to environmental re-education.
Together with collaborators such as schools and organizations we are spreading our values with the commitment to do a small help for a better future.
