A vegetable garden in pots is an increasingly widespread trend followed by green lovers and aspiring green lovers!
As a matter of fact there are vegetables and aromatic plants that, due to their characteristics, are very well suited to be grown in pots 🌱

Times when we used to talk about vegetable gardens with the consequent demotivation of those who did not have enough space is now over. A pot is enough to enjoy your cultivation 😍

So … there is no need to live in large villas with gardens or in the countryside: even a small flat in the city center is enough to optimize your vegetable growth 👉 choose the right vegetables and obviously the proper pot!

A vegetable garden in pots 👉 Are you ready? Hands in the earth and let’s start with some suggestions!

1. Tomatoes 👉They are perhaps the most productive vegetables if grown in pots. They just need a lot of sun, let’s say 5 or 6 hours a day at least. If you want to grow tomatoes, you can buy a young plant from a nursery or garden center. The small berry varieties, such as cherry or “datterino” tomatoes, are particularly suitable for cultivation in pots. You should also find other varieties ideal for cultivation not in the open ground 😊
Where are you going to grow them? We suggest you  a cylinder Pot from the Terrae line or a planter from the same line if you have enough space.
The size of the pot also depends on the variety of tomatoes we decide to grow, usually we suggest you to start from a diameter of 30 cm.

2. Rich in vitamins and mineral salts, green beans 👉 are vegetables that grow upwards and they are perfect for growing even close to a wall. Green beans are plants that love fertile soil, with good drainage and without too much clay. They only grow well if placed in not shaded positions. Sowing must take place between April and May. Green beans do not require specific fertilization and this makes their cultivation easier. The most important phase is irrigation, which is essential when the plant is young and subsequently at the time of flowering. Growth in height makes sowing perfect even in small pots: a SEMICERCHIO Terrae pot is also perfect … maybe in the new colors!

3. Peppers 👉 are perfect for growing in pots, as long as they are exposed to the sun and placed in well-fertilized, slightly acidic or neutral and well-draining soil. We can grow peppers of all varieties and colors in pots, or try to grow small peppers with the same growth characteristics. But what are the features of a pot suitable for the cultivation of peppers?  We usually suggest a pot container with a diameter of about 30-35cm and a similar depth 😁
For example, a Terrae Cylinder Pot. For small hot peppers (chilies), even a 22 cm MYmood mini rectangular planter is very suitable.

4. Peas need a mild climate and grow quite quickly even without special care. Often a dwarf variety is chosen and the advice is to pay attention to watering, which must always be present, and to exposure, which must be constant. The plant grows upwards and for this reason it is recommended to place it near a wall where the support can be placed.

5. Zucchini 👉 is an evergreen vegetable loved by almost everyone! Simple to grow and fairly fast growing. Zucchini prefer large and rather wide pots. For example, a Mymood maxi Planter that has an adequate width and depth that allows the roots to develop easily. The most suitable period for cultivation is from April to May. The plant requires a lot of light so let’s pay attention to place the pot in the correct position. Watering must be frequent, at least twice a day.
