The season ended and we wish to give voice to a referent of the project. A sort of #PlastecnicInterview<\/strong> … because successful projects need to show a voice, as well as their space \ud83d\udc49 Daniele Vanoli, marketing manager and special initiatives for Netweek.<\/strong><\/p>\n

What is your opinion of this last year, after the closure of the school events?
\n<\/strong>We are very satisfied and proud of this project. We can say that this year we have also sown in schools. Not only by bringing soil and seeds to 100 schools in Northern Italy, by meeting 8,000 students from 440 classes, but also by telling children about the beauty and importance of nature. And this was possible thanks to the support of sponsors and partners, such as Plastecnic who donated 5,500 pots to us. And thanks to the collaboration of some friends of Netweek who accompanied us to the schools: the animator Dario Nurri, a gardener specialized in tree climbing, maintenance and creation of gardens; Jessica Forgetta, \u201ctrainer\u201d accompanied by her puppet Stracchino, a country mouse; Michela Zaminato, hobbyist beekeeper specialized in \u201cbee teaching\u201d. We were able to teach, in addition to how to grow vegetables and flowers, the value of time and knowledge in order to live better.<\/p>\n

What are the reactions that most impressed you?
\n<\/strong>Undoubtedly it is important to start from the youngest, the adults of tomorrow, to make them grow in sensitivity towards these issues. Many children are not used to living in contact with nature, they have never seen a seed grow or how a bee lives. So, it is essential to make them discover the value of biodiversity and the usefulness of every creature and plant. The students showed great curiosity and attention, they felt involved and recognized themselves as part of nature. They discovered a lot of interesting information, they spared no questions and had fun both listening to our experts and putting their hands in the dirt.<\/p>\n

How do schools react to these workshops?
\n<\/strong>We have always found a wonderful collaboration and welcome. Everyone has been very happy, both the children and the teachers. Everyone can do their part and today we are planting seeds that will be able to flourish and bear good fruit in the future. Talking to the little ones about nature also means teaching them how to eat healthy, thus \u00a0the educational aims of our project are always welcome with great interest by schools.<\/p>\n

What are your goals for 2024?<\/strong>
\n<\/strong>Obviously we hope to be able to repeat this project, and indeed we are already working on it. We started these green projects to offer our readers an opportunity to have fun during the pandemic periods but then our commitment has expanded to transmit \u201cgreen\u201d values. An experiment that after three years, we can say, was very successful and leads us to go on and \u00a0try to do even better. We are therefore confident that we will be able to involve even more schools and to meet more children.
