{"id":2527,"date":"2021-09-13T20:07:26","date_gmt":"2021-09-13T18:07:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.plastecnic.com\/?p=2527"},"modified":"2021-12-07T18:12:07","modified_gmt":"2021-12-07T17:12:07","slug":"plastecnic-looking-at-the-future","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.plastecnic.com\/en\/uncategorized\/plastecnic-looking-at-the-future\/","title":{"rendered":"PLASTECNIC: LOOKING AT THE FUTURE!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #339966;\">Plastecnic:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>some food for thought with Emilia Bonanomi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Someone is talking about the HUMAN FACTOR.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Someone about humanization\u2026<br \/>\nSometimes they are just trends, sometimes strategies.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"><br \/>\n<\/span>In many cases they represent reality.<br \/>\nAnd this reflects Plastecnic Company too!<\/p>\n<p>We have been projecting and selling plastic pots manufactured with injection and rotational molding system since 1962.<br \/>\nOur mission is: <span style=\"color: #339966;\">\u201ccreating environments and containing nature to build atmospheres\u201d \ud83d\udc49\u00a0<\/span>a mission in which we trust as we believe that all our products are studied to welcome and respect flowers and plants and to transmit wellness and happiness.\u00a0All our products have always been 100% \u201cmade in Italy\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><b>Why are we talking you about it?<br \/>\n<\/b>Because<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>we have grown a lot and our goal is<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>to grow even more!<\/p>\n<p><b>It is September, the real start of the year, <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>and we allow ourself the luxury of taking a break for a while and reflect<\/b>.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"><br \/>\n<\/span>We didn&#8217;t do it by chance \ud83d\ude01 we\u2019ve chosen to do it with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/emiliabonanomi\/\">Emilia Bonanomi,<\/a> General Manager of the Company.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-2477 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.plastecnic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Schermata-2021-08-27-alle-16.52.35_compressed.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"468\" height=\"261\" \/>In the recent years &#8211;<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Emilia says &#8211; consumers&#8217; approach to gardening has been constantly evolving.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Plants are no more considered as decorative products but as living beings whose presence gives psychological and physical benefits to all who take care of them.<br \/>\nAnother relevant aspect is the <b>approach of young people<\/b> to this field.<br \/>\nWe would like to \u201cbe closer\u201d to these &#8220;new&#8221; consumers and to all our customers<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>as well because we want to give concrete suggestions not only in terms of products choice but also of values \u200b\u200bthat look towards<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>a \u201cgreener&#8221; and therefore more &#8220;sustainable&#8221; future.<\/p>\n<p>The challenge that we\u2019re going to face is to become a reference for all the green lovers and to find out their curiosities, their enthusiasm and their desire for knowledge<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>in order to come back to them with concrete products and solutions by using the most suitable communication channels.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.plastecnic.com\/it\/plastecnic-creativi_per_natura\/\">Plastecnic<\/a> <b>is a well-structured, solid Company whose family roots are strong and always current.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;From the beginning the idea of \u200b\u200bmy father, on of the founding partner, has been to develop a Company as respectful as possible thanks to the good use of resources. Starting from the attention towards the employees, the environment and local communities, he has always preferred for example to work with local suppliers in order to keep the industrial development in the territory and<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>to reduce the environmental impact, in a logic of sustainable and responsible entrepreneurship.<br \/>\nThis \u201cgreen\u201d approach has always been shared by everyone in our Company and the<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>results are not only structural actions such as the optimization of the production resources but also the small daily actions of each employee towards the<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>elimination of waste and the reuse of<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>row materials &#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Emilia highlights in several occasions how today<span style=\"color: #339966;\"> <b>sustainability and green<\/b><\/span> have become fundamental topics for<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>the business management model,<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>a model that must ensure, in addition to the economic development, also social equity, employee safety and environmental quality that mean responsibility for the consequences of the environmental impact of economic activities.<br \/>\nI am convinced that today the strategy can no longer be based on a &#8220;business idea&#8221; but on a <b>&#8220;sustainability idea&#8221;<\/b><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>in a long-term vision that goes beyond the logic of a simple result.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"><br \/>\n<\/span>For an end consumer Company like Plastecnic, which has always been accustomed to a responsible approach to production, consumption of resources and the reuse of materials, the goal to develop initiatives and investments that today are called<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>&#8220;Circular Economy&#8221; model has not meant to invest in<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>many changes<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>as this model is an integral part of the Company mission.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #339966;\"><b>We remind you that starting from this topic we have developed the <\/b>&#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.plastecnic.com\/en\/plastecnic_reuse_relove\/\">re-use RE-LOVE<\/a>&#8220;<b> project. <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2269 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.plastecnic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Schermata-2021-06-23-alle-19.38.40.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"241\" height=\"242\" \/><br \/>\n<\/b><\/span>The goal is to use at least 80% of recycled plastic from segregated waste collection in the next few years. The heart of the initiative is the use of recycled plastic supplied by EuCertPlast certified companies.<br \/>\nThe European EuCertPlast certification introduces a logic of extreme transparency in a previously very unclear situation. The recycling chain must comply with specific parameters: traceability procedures and processes with low environmental impact, so that the plastic is recyclable again, generating a virtuous circular economy.<\/p>\n<p>With the re-use project RE-LOVE,<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Plastecnic engages in a long and complex research system.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>In order to maintain this<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>qualitative excellence, the Company must study the right combination of recycled and virgin plastic row material for each type of pot, as well it must consider these features in the design of new products.<\/p>\n<p>Many<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>production<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>cycles<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>are required to ensure maximum technical performance, resistance to environmental agents and durability.<br \/>\nEconomic progress has been proceeding for years on a path that is no longer sustainable from an environmental point of view, that is why it is necessary to change the way of approaching production and consumption.<\/p>\n<p>I think<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>that Companies have the<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>primary and fundamental role as influencer of these new \u201cgreen\u201d habits both in terms of offering products with low environmental impact, and in terms of adopting technologies and behaviors that respect environmental balances. We have a great responsibility towards end consumers and above all towards future generations. We are facing a great challenge.
