What are we doing in favour of sustainability?
\n<\/b><\/span>It is now well- known to all of us in Plastecnic that Sustainability is a concept, a goal that goes from a vision to become a real Company mission \ud83d\ude0a<\/p>\n

We have already talked about it in our\u00a0 <\/span>blog<\/a> and we often it has been an important theme in our\u00a0<\/span>Linkedin profile<\/a>.<\/p>\n

All what we are doing in our everyday life has a basic impact on the Planet, from the food we are eating to the car we are driving.
\n<\/span>In order to protect the Earth and preserve it optimally even for future generations, today, more than ever, it is necessary to adopt a more sustainable lifestyle, by reducing consumption and carefully preserving the resources that our beautiful planet is offering us.
\nAnd then we have to say \ud83d\udc49 that sustainable behaviors have a great value on their side. They are good for the environment, but they also become as \u201cinfluencer\u201d, as they are\u00a0 <\/span>a goal to follow a more eco-sustainable lifestyle.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the \u201cre-use RE-LOVE\u201d<\/a><\/b> project, we have improved the Plastecnic eco-sustainability Mission. The goal of this project is to employ at least 80% of recycled plastic from segregated waste collection.<\/p>\n

Love and respect towards nature has always meant for Plastecnic a mix of quality of the final product together with real and incisive sustainability. Since the beginning, the company has worked following a \u201cgreen\u201d vision:\u00a0 <\/span>It is the reason of investments in low CO2 emission and new generation machinery with energy savings of up to 30%. From zero km production, to recycling plastic packaging, up to the recent adiabatic cooling system that saves 2 million liters of water per year.<\/p>\n

Plastic is continuously offering a model of good lifestyles and social behaviors and with its versatility this row material has allowed the evolution of many different business fields. We think of nanotechnologies, furnishings, food packaging, safety accessories.
\nIt is a ductile material, too often the subject of mystifications that have brought it to be considered synonymous of pollution, when its incorrect disposal at the end of use is harmful to the environment. In reality, plastic, if properly treated, can be recycled through processes with a low environmental impact and for this reason it is important to reuse it and to re-employ it back into the production cycle.
\nBut we will talk about this in another issue \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

Re-use RE-LOVE Project is the declaration of Plastecnic’ commitment for the aim of\u00a0 <\/span>exploiting all the eco-friendly potential of the plastic row material.<\/span>
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

But this is not enough. We have focused the RE-LOVE re-use project into 5 actions<\/strong> that involve the end consumers too.<\/p>\n

\"\"The first action: GOOD IDEA!<\/span>
\n<\/b>The idea is to reduce the use of raw materials in the industrial production.
\nPlastic can be reused many times and many sectors are finding out the potential of plastic from urban waste, from clothing to design, from the building field to the cosmetics one. An industrial process transforms it into a new raw material, ready to be reused.
\nPlastecnic, in order to give a further sign of its commitment, has chosen to use recycled plastic from the urban waste only if certified by “Eucertplast” certificate and the Company goal will be the one of using at least 80% of it in the production in the coming years.
\nThis is a really GOOD IDEA! \ud83c\udf31<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"The second action: GOOD PROJECT!<\/span>
\n<\/b>Products must be designed to be versatile, adaptable and resistant to changing external conditions and modular \/ easy to be assembled so that their disposal at the end of the cycle will be easy. They have to be recyclable so that they can be re-placed into circulation after their disposal.
\nPlastecnic pots are following all these steps, as they are designed and manufactured with the purpose of giving well-being to all the plants.
\nIn order to talk about sustainability, it is essential to contemplate every step in the life of a product, starting from its design which must provide for the least possible impact on the environment. A well-designed product prevents waste and therefore pollution.<\/p>\n
